I was born and raised in Nara, the ancient capital of Japan.

As a child, I grew up surrounded by traditional craftsmanship. My grandfather was a Buddhist sculptor, and many of my earliest memories are filled with the scent of wood, old temples, birds, flowers, and the quiet beauty of nature.

Through kirie, I do not simply create images. I preserve fragments of places, seasons, and memories that I wish to carry into the future.

Every piece is cut entirely by hand from a single sheet of paper. In each line, I hope to share not only my work, but also a small part of the quiet beauty that exists in Japan.
